GUAM March 2026

The Brantley's Journey To Service

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8

Hafa Adai from Guam! We are so grateful for all of the love, prayers and support from all of our supporters. It is hard to believe that we have been serving in Guam for four years. God has been so wonderful to people of Agat, Guam through the ministry of Agat Community Church and General Baptist Ministries. Through the faithful donations of our sponsors, uniforms have been provided for numerous children, vehicles have been donated and repaired for recovering addicts to get employment, and not to mention the food that has been provided to the many homeless and financially challenged individuals and families. With all of these opportunities, we have shared the gospel and importance of having a relationship with God.

Over the past couple of months, we have completed a small group book study from "The Young Convert" with our adult members. This focused on what it means to accept Christ as your savior. We are now moving into another book study entitled "Reach Out, Gather In". This book will focus on opening their heart and home to others in Christian love. We are seeing adults get more and more engaged in how to share Christ with others. Even though they themselves don't have a lot to give, they are learning how to use their God given talents to reach others. It is amazing to see this growth. This wouldn't be possible without your continued support. Please continue to pray for the people of Agat.

God has been so faithful to provide for us during our time in Guam. Though we thought we would be in the parsonage by the end of last year, we have not been without a home. Construction is still in progress. We also had some issues with vehicles. One of the problems on Guam is rodents. There are a lot of rats and shrews. They like to climb up in vehicles and chew wires. The mission vehicle fell prey to a couple of these little varmints. Living on an island, it often times takes months to get parts shipped. So, the mission vehicle was in the shop from the end of December to the end of February. We had sold Allie's car right before she left for the military. Jeremiah had been in a minor accident that caused quite a bit of damage to the vehicle he had here in Guam making it undriveable. And the mini truck needed a new radiator. Now, there are a couple of ways that we could have looked at this situation. We could have said oh wo is me. What are we going to do now? Or we could do what we did, pray. God showed us that we still had the church van. Was it ideal to drive around the island for all of our errands? No. But did it meet our needs? Yes. And that is exactly how God is with His children every day, He supplies their needs. 2 Corinthians 9:8

Jeremiah--our fly boy

Jeremiah is still living in Pohnpei. He has been exploring more of the outer lying islands and open more runways for Carolina Island Air. We are fortunate that he is able to come to Guam every few months to pick up parts for work and visit with family and friends. He is loving his adventures. His latest adventure was rescuing an injured bird who he affectionately named Wilson. After a couple of days of attending to his hurt wing and offering him food and water, unfortunately, Wilson did not make it. Our kids have always been animal lovers. It seems that not even island life has changed that.

It is hard to believe that he will be 21 years old in September. He has grown into such a well-rounded, smart, and funny young man. We are so proud of him and the stance he has taken for God. He regularly attends church on Pohnpei and Chuuk. Please continue to keep him and his travels in your prayers.

PFC Allie Brantley
Monterey, California

Allie is currently continuing her Russian language training in Monterey, California. She repeatedly tells us how the Army isn't hard. (Not the same Army I was in 30 years ago) Classes are challenging though. She is learning how to balance her school and off time. She is also learning how to navigate some not so fun adult situations like the DMV and car insurance. She asked the other day if we could just keep her on our car insurance. Like Jeremiah, you can take the kid out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the kid. She has found ground squirrels to feed and play with by the beach in Monterey. She also has a pass to the aquarium and goes there quite a bit. We are hoping she is able to visit Guam on leave in June. Please continue to keep her and her studies in your prayers.

Agat Community Church Youth

One of our biggest demographics at Agat Community Church is the youth. There are several reasons for this. One of the biggest is that home situations are not the best here. Many are single parent homes, many have major drug issues and a lot have abuse. We are a safe place that children can just be children. They are not responsible for their siblings. They are not fending for themselves. They are loved on and cared about. They are encouraged and praised when they try and do right. For the first time for many of them, they are feeling true love. Over the last four years, we have been blessed to see over 20 young people give their life to the Lord.

We take attendance at our Sunday morning, Sunday night and Monday night services. Every month we recognize those with perfect attendance. These are the recipients for February. (L-R: Tamya Villagomez, Joe Sanchez, Aubrianee Sanchez, and Jenaizah Crespo).

On Monday nights the girls have been focusing on beauty. They painted the rocks pictured. Though some don't look beautiful to some people, they are all uniquely beautiful to those who painted them. Just like we are all uniquely beautiful to God.

We are so thankful to all who have continued to support us on this journey through deputation support, project funds or prayer support. We would not be able to do any of the work that has been done here without God blessing the work and people being willing to support and send us. We pray daily that we are constantly found doing God's will.

Please follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram. We love staying in touch with you all. If you have any prayer requests, please let us know. We would be honored to pray with you and for you.

Thank you again for your kind and loving support.

Thank you and God Bless,

Cathy, Schuyler, Jeremiah and Allie Brantley
