GUAM June 2026

The Brantley's Journey To Service

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8

Hafa Adai from Guam! We are so grateful for all of the love, prayers and support from all of our supporters. I apologize for their being a delay in the newsletter. We hope you enjoy all of the updates. Agat Community Church continues to have steady growth. We recently had a new family begin attending and they are already wanting to get involved.
Through your love and support, we have been able to donate four new canopies to the mayor's office. These canopies are offered free of charge to the members of the community for use at birthday parties, fiestas and funerals. The staff of the mayor's office set up and break down the equipment. It was a blessing for them to have new equipment donated. Agat Community Church members were also able to help an elderly family clean up their yard and property. Donations to Guam's project funds covered the rubbish disposal fees. Food donations are given almost on a daily basis to members of the church and community as well as to the mayor's office to distribute to individuals who don't feel comfortable coming to the church. We keep in contact with the staff to make sure we are being good stewards of the resources available. The mayor's office staff also reaches out to us when they receive large donations of food. They donate to us to have at the church to distribute as well.
We want you all to know how valued you, your prayers, and your donations are by us and the community here in Guam.

TYPHOON SINLAKU

Typhoon Sinlaku was originally projected to be a direct hit to Guam this year. We as an island were so blessed to not for that to not happen. While we sustained minimal damage across the island, Saipan was not as fortunate. They not only took a direct hit from this massive, slow-moving storm, they were in the eye of the storm for some time. Many people in Saipan lost all that they owned. In the aftermath of this devastating storm, members of the National Elementary Honor Society at Marcial Sablan Elementary School organized a donation drive for the people of Saipan. Agat Community Church was honored to be a drop point for collections. It was amazing to see the community pull together for their island family.

Who's In The Suit?

So, can you guess who the local mascot is? That's right, Schuyler! He has now been Santa, Easter Bunny, and The Mannge' Manga (the yummy mango). He is perfect for it though. He is all over the place taking photos with people like Jeremiah and the mayor. As silly as it may seem, it is a really good networking opportunity in the community. And Schuyler just loves it!

Parsonage and Solar Panel Updates

Construction updates: We have a foundation!! They were finally able to pour the first level of concrete. That's right first level. Now they are laying these plastic pallet looking things. As you can tell, I know nothing about construction. According to a neighbor, they are to protect the foundation during earthquakes. They will be placed on top of the current foundation and then another layer of concrete will be poured on top of them. Once construction is complete, then we will move forward with the solar panels. Things move slow on the island, but they are moving.

Jeremiah--our fly boy

Jeremiah has experienced some trials and tribulations the past few months. There were some mechanical issues with the airplane that he pilots. He thought they would take it to the Philippines, it would be fixed and he would be on his way. Well, that didn't happen. He was stuck in the Philippines for several weeks. Then he flew commercial to Australia to pick up a different plane to ferry back to Pohnpei. That plane ended up having issues too! So, he spent quite a bit of time in Australia. After a while his boss told him to take some personal time. That sent him back to Kentucky to see his grandpa and friends. On his way back to this side of the world, he stopped in Guam for a little over a week and worked on the "new plane" he will be flying. When it was ready to go, Schuyler asked if he could fly down with him. His boss ok'd it and they had nearly eight hours of father-son time on the flight to Chuuk. Schuyler is enjoying the time with Jeremiah and being able to see more of the FSM outer lying islands.

PFC Allie Brantley
Monterey, California

Allie is doing well with the Army and language school. She stays pretty busy and that is hard on this momma. I wish I could talk to her more often, but I understand. She has made friends with someone who lives of post and has dogs that she can "borrow". She enjoys taking them for walks and playtime at the park for her relax time.

Perfect Attendance

This last month, we only had one perfect attendance recipient, Jenaizah. She is such an amazing young lady. She challenges me daily with her questions and love for understanding God's word.

Agat Community Church Youth

The youth are the heart of the church. We are going into our fifth year here in Agat. We have now seen children complete elementary school like Jenaizah and Angel. And we have seen babies start school and finish kinder like Devin. We also have had the pleasure of celebrating local events, like the Mango Festival, with our youth. It is an amazing feeling to have them run up and love on us at these events. It truly shows that a difference is being made.

We are so thankful to all who have continued to support us on this journey through deputation support, project funds or prayer support. We would not be able to do any of the work that has been done here without God blessing the work and people being willing to support and send us. I do apologize for the gap between newsletters. Sometimes it is just difficult to get the time to sit down away from everything going on. We pray daily that we are constantly found doing God's will.

Please follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram. We have been streaming services on The Brantley's Journey to Service page. We love staying in touch with you all. If you have any prayer requests, please let us know. We would be honored to pray with you and for you.

Thank you again for your kind and loving support.

Thank you and God Bless,
