First General Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau, MO, is on a prayerful search for a dynamic, dedicated Bi-Vocational Pastor of the General Baptist Faith. This is a unique opportunity for someone who feels called to minister and lead within the church while also engaging in secular employment. What We’re Looking For:
A dedicated servant of God with a clear calling for pastoral ministry. Ability to provide spiritual leadership, preaching, and pastoral care. Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage church operations alongside a secondary occupation. A visionary leader with a heart of outreach, discipleship, and community engagement. A theological degree from an accredited seminary is preferred but not required. A commitment to being bi-vocational for the foreseeable future.
Responsibilities Include:
Leading Sunday services and occasional special services. Providing pastoral care and counseling to the church community. Engaging with and fostering community relationships. Developing and leading outreach and discipleship programs. Collaborating with church leadership to guide the congregation’s growth and spiritual health.
